Attractions
There are endless activities offered here in St. Vincent & the Grenadines. The islands are relatively small and are best explored by renting a car or hiring a taxi to venture on your various excursions.
Dark View Falls
Located on the leeward side of the island, Dark View falls is a twin waterfall that is accessible via a bamboo bridge. From the capital, Kingstown, it is roughly a 1 hour and 20 minute drive. You will pass several towns like Campden Park, Layou, Barrouallie, Chateaubelair, and Richmond along the way. It is a wonderful spot to simply relax and enjoy a picnic.
The Grenadines
The Grenadines is a chain of smaller islands located south of the mainland, St. Vincent. Out of the 32 islands and cays, only 9 are inhabited. This includes the mainland, Young Island, Bequia, Mustique, Canouan, Palm Island, Mayreau, Petite St. Vincent, and Union Island. Each island is a different experience and can be easily accessed by public ferries.
Wallilabou Bay
The Wallilabou Bay was one of the main filming locations for the 2003 Disney movie, "Pirates of the Caribbean". There is also a restaurant located within the anchorage where you can get anything from fresh fish to stews and curries alongside our locally distilled rums.
Princess Margaret Beach
In Bequia, Princess Margaret is one of the most popular beaches on the island. It is walking distance from the harbor, Port Elizabeth and can also be accessed by boat or car. The famous Jack's Bar Restaurant is found right on Princess Margaret Beach, serving catch of the day and fresh lobsters.
Carnival - Vincy Mas
Vincy Mas is St. Vincent's carnival festival that is held once a year, a celebration of culture, music and heritage. Carnival begins on the last Friday of June and continues on for a period of 12 days. Throughout the carnival season, various parties, events and functions take place. The final two days are declared national holidays for what is called J'ouvert and Mardis Gras. This is when persons are welcome to parade the streets of Kingstown in their colourful and vibrant carnival costumes. Vincy Mas is one of the country's biggest attractions, perfect for vacation, and is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Mopion Island
This picturesque island is situated in the southern Grenadines and is said to be one of the smallest islands in the Caribbean. It can be accessed by your own boat, a privately chartered boat or a water taxi. Mopion is simply a sandbar surrounded by reef and is a great location for snorkeling.
Mount Wynne Beach
On the south-west of St. Vincent, Mount Wynne beach is a volcanic black sand beach that is highly rated among Vincentians. This beach is perfect for wedding venues, family gatherings and other recreational purposes.
Kingstown
The Capital of St. Vincent, Kingstown, also known as the "City of Arches" and is located on the south coast. It is one of the more densely populated areas and is the chief port of entry for the country. Kingstown is also a landmark of the oldest botanic garden in the Western Hemisphere, where the first breadfruit tree was planted in 1793 by Captain William Bligh and is now a well-known fruit throughout the region.

Blue Lagoon Hotel & Marina is situated on the southern tip of St. Vincent, about a twenty-minute drive from the international airport. There are three restaurants located on the compound, serving a variety of cuisine as well as a mini-mart, boutique, and dive shop. The terrace suites overlooking the marina and nearby beaches are a noble choice to watch the yachties voyage in and out of the passage or to simply relax and work on a tan.
